All in all, we highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for relaxing week at the lake.” And of course, the village of Lake Placid is charming and we enjoyed a few dinners in town during our week. The waterfront and dock are in really great condition and we spent countless hours down there swimming, kayaking, or just reading a book. The screened-in porch was a huge favorite and was where every meal was eaten. The cabin was great and spacious, and offered the right combination of rustic but with all the right modern amenities.
